Paul is currently the County Councillor for Bowthorpe and is also Chairman of the Norwich Association. Paul has lived for almost his entire adult life in West Norwich, and has lived in Chapel Break for the last 2 years. A history graduate from the UEA, Paul now works in Great Yarmouth. Paul is actively involved in the local community and is a governor of a local primary school and is a trustee of several local groups.

On the council Paul is passionate about ensuring that council provides high quality services which are targeted at the most vulnerable in society, at the lowest cost possible to the tax payer. He also sits on the Norfolk Police Authority where he is a tireless advocate for Community Policing.

He is currently heavily involved supporting the community hubs project in Bowthorpe, and supporting his city colleagues in their efforts to ensure that the City Council starts to maintain Norwich properly.
