Sausage Fans back Little!

Conservative candidate for Norwich South Antony Little today received a
surprise endorsement from the creator of Britain's biggest website
 dedicated to the sausage.

Stephen Plume, originator of the award winning website
sausagefans.com, got in-touch with Antony to express his worries
about the government's attempts to charge training teachers full
university fees and has been so impressed with Antony's efforts to fight
for the people of Norwich that he wanted to offer his support.

Mr Plume, currently studying to be a Maths teacher at the UEA, said: "I
have been very impressed with Antony as both a teacher and as a
politician prepared to fight for the people he represents.  Like me,
Antony studied at UEA and is dedicated to making Norwich better."

"More importantly, Antony really likes sausages and is just the man we
need to put the great British Banger back on the map."

"I've always been supported by South Norfolk's Richard Bacon and I feel
that Antony is as pro-sausage as he is."

"Antony is a man who'll fight for the sausage industry, promote our work
and keep the sausage at the forefront of our dinner tables."

High School Teacher Antony said:
"I am thrilled to have Stephen's backing and that of
sausagefans.com  I have always been a sausage fan!  There are, of
course, serious issues here about animal and livestock welfare, quality
standards for British and imported meat and support for small
independent butchers.  Stephen is working hard to promote good British
sausages with his recommended butcher directory including 38 sausage
makers in Norfolk alone.  Labour has left farming in crisis and I am
determined to stand up for people who feel letdown by Blair's ignorance
of rural issues."

"I am going to keep in close contact with Stephen over issues with
regards to the meat and livestock industry, farming and sausages."

"Stephen is also as outraged as I am about training teachers being
lumbered with paying this government's tuition fees.  Both Stephen and I
trained to teach without that fear of debt and it will only serve to
ensure good, capable teachers are put off from training."
