Chloe Smith, MP for Norwich North, will be speaking at the Conservative Party Conference on party membership in the 21st century.
The debate, hosted by Policy Exchange, will include academics, politicians and journalists.
Commenting on the question Chloe said:
“The world has moved on from the old tribal loyalties to political parties. If we aspire to being a mass membership movement then we need to think seriously about why people would want to join a political party, who they are, what they think and do, and what they get in return.”
The Conservative Party is currently undergoing a full operational review. As one of Britain’s youngest MPs, Chloe is working on the Party Board to ensure that young people’s priorities are listened to.
